Today the former Antwerp Stock Exchange, ‘De Handelsbeurs’ formally opened it’s doors again!
After being closed for more than 20 years of standing vacant and a thorough Restoration and transformation.
During a very challenging construction phase, this listed monument was underpinned to build a 3 story underground car park.
The restored main hall is a covered public space, connecting several streets in Antwerp’s main shopping district and will form the backdrop of public and private events. The adjacent ‘Schippersbeurs’ contains a fine dinging restaurant and the neighbouring building block, including the historic ‘Hotel Dubois’ is set to open early 2020, and will contain a 5 star
