Bart Anthonissen
Architect, MRE - managing director at eld, eld architects & eld poland
After a few years of experience elsewhere, Bart joined eld in 2001, became partner in 2009 and is managing director since 2016. He worked on laboratory projects, industrial project and mixed projects. He has an extensive experience in working with (foreign) design architects on complex large scale urban development projects. He oversees prospection and prepares commercial actions and offers with other partners. Bart is always searching to optimize processes and quality, builds project teams and engages and specializes in sustainable construction.

Heidi Vereeken
Construction Engineer - managing director at eld
After her studies as civil engineer in 1999, Heidi started her career at eld. In 2017 Heidi became partner at eld and managing director in 2021. She is involved in and responsible for the "buildability" and the construction engineering calculations from design till construction phase. Heidi has a lot of practical and strategic experience in a huge range of projects. Heidi follows the current digital trends and builds the vision for a collective future. With her human leadership she wants to empower people, so they can make a difference . Her hands-on mentality is part of the future growth of the company in a highly evolving sector.

Ilka Broeckaert
Architect and Urban planner - managing director at eld
Ilka studied Architecture in Ghent and the UK and graduated as urban planner with great honor at the university of Brussels. After working in several architectural practices Ilka joined eld in 2007. She became partner at eld in 2017 and managing director in 2021. As a project architect and urban planner she has experience in large scale projects in various sectors. She believes that architecture is the synergy of an integrated design process on various scale levels and the result of intense teamwork. She focusses her approach on bringing together ideas, people, skills and expertise to develop new innovative and sustainable projects for the client. She is responsible for the architecture studio at eld. She is the permanent representative of the European architectural group Perspective and member of the steering committee of IDeA network - an international collective of architects and designers.

Koen Hermans
Civil Engineer - director at eld
After his studies as civil engineer in architecture and studies in industrial management, Koen started working as a university researcher, followed by a meaningful experience with a contractor. He joined eld in 2005, and has since then built up experience as cost engineer for a large range of projects in all kind of sectors. A point of particular interest in the field of cost control is value engineering, which finds expression in the financial quality control of complex projects. During his career within eld, Koen also gained a lot of know-how in DBFM contracts and public tenders. In 2017 Koen became partner at eld to contribute to the future growth of eld, with the emphasis on the role of contracting, planning and finance.

Filip Declercq
Architect - director at eld
Filip joined eld after 6 years of private practice after being graduated with honor in 1984. Filip has over 25 years of experience in the architectural realization, coordination and technical development of large projects and urban scale developments. This for both private investors and international companies. He was involved in numerous projects especially in the field of reinforcing and enhancing the design, and controlling the buildability of high-level architectural projects into detail, by directing young architects and other team members, transferring knowledge and experience.

Luc De Graef
Construction engineer - director at eld
Luc started working in 1986 as a project manager for a medium scale general contractor which allowed him to build experience in calculations, site supervision and management of non standard projects. He moved to eld after ten years because of their process-driven approach of projects. Luc is managing partner since 2009. Luc's focus and interest within eld are on motivating people and managing projects to deliver them "OTOBOS" - on time, on budget, on scope. Whatever the stress is in the office, he is the one who stays calm. Currently, Luc supports the daily management with his experience and helicopter view analysis, mainly on legal and financial aspects.
