OostCampus wins COAM+ Award and is looking to the future

OostCampus, the former Coca-Cola factory transformed into a ‘cloudy’ city hall made heads turn from the get-go since it was completed. In 2011, the complex won a Silver Prize at the Holcim Awards for Sustainable Construction Europe.

Fast forward to today…
The project has reigned in another award, the COAM+ Award.
This award recognizes architectural work 10 years after completion, having demonstrated the social and cultural transcendence over time of a design and conception of the highest architectural quality. The architects team Carlos Arroyo Architects and eld as well as the owner Gemeente Oostkamp have been credited.

Moreover, Oostkamp local authorities are keen on constant innovating and have therefore contacted the architects team Carlos Arroyo Architects and eld to carry out an update of the premises, introducing a new interface between the city and its citizens, based on the latest digital technology.
