Strip it down and build it up – Gimv Antwerp

Gimv is a listed investment company which operates primarily in the European market as a leading player in private equity and venture capital.

To meet their demand for more transparency and flexibility, we engaged in a full renovation of the interior and the façade.

Challenges & solutions

The project merged two buildings into one. It was stripped down and the building was upgraded with a new, transparent and clean looking front façade made out of white concrete in a grid structure. The thorough renovation reorganizes the connections and people flow between the buildings,  and this encourages more interaction as well as optimizes the use of space. The newly designed landscape offices, new conference facilities and refurbishment of the services are in line with the expectations and the company’s professional image .
